Downtown Calgary Chiropractors | Second Visit

Your Report of Findings

Calgary area chiropractic patients appreciate we explain things first.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we'll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings.

At the Report of Findings you will learn the answer to 4 important questions:

  • What is the status of your health?
  • Can we help you?
  • If so, how will we help you?
  • How long will it take?

Your First Adjustment

We suggest that you bring along your significant other or the person you consult with about your important decisions in order for them to understand what it is you will be experiencing. This visit typically takes between 20-30 minutes. During this time we will review your specific health challenges, examination results and x-ray findings. At the end of this Report, if your care has been accepted and you choose to begin care, you will have your first adjustment. After that, Regular Visits to our office are a little different.

Dr. Richard Asks some important questions of interest to Downtown Calgary residents - Chiropractor Downtown Calgary Dr. Richard Asks...

Is a muscle spasm a cause or an effect?
With the knee-jerk use of muscle relaxers, you'd think it was a cause. But it's an effect. Chiropractors know that bones don't move unless muscles move them. And muscles don't contract unless commanded by the nervous system. That's why your nervous system is the focus of our Downtown Calgary chiropractic practice.
What happens if you stop chiropractic care when you feel better?
Many Downtown Calgary folks recognize that this predisposes you to a relapse. Chiropractors know that muscles and ligaments supporting the spine don't fully heal until after symptoms subside.
